A fallen sect, one junior sister, and an iron ring that summons martial-arts manuals. Follow Ye Wen as he rebuilds the Shu Mountain Sect in this complete English martial-arts and cultivation adventure. Includes 563 chapter entries across three volumes in EPUB and TXT, with the first five chapters free to sample.
The First Sect Master in History is a complete English sect rebuilding cultivation novel about Ye Wen, a modern young man who awakens in the injured body of a twenty-year-old martial artist. His new position sounds impressive: seventh master of the Book Mountain Sect. The reality is less glorious. A lost contest has cost the sect its land, signboard, and reputation, leaving him with one sharp-tongued junior sister and a difficult future.

Ning Ruxue expects her senior brother to lead, even while questioning whether he is capable of doing so. Ye Wen has inherited a title without the strength, resources, or local knowledge to support it. His first problems are practical: recover from his injuries, understand the rules of this martial world, and find a place where the two remaining disciples can start again.
Rather than restore the old name unchanged, Ye Wen renames the school the Shu Mountain Sect and establishes a new mountain headquarters. Recruiting students, teaching techniques, finding resources, and defending the sect’s standing become parts of the same challenge. A growing reputation attracts opportunities and rivals, while his junior sister remains a demanding partner in the rebuilding effort.
An unadorned iron ring gives Ye Wen an unusual advantage. It can draw on his inner energy and produce martial-arts manuals, beginning with a sword technique recorded on a thin piece of cloth. That makes it a martial arts manual summoning ring, rather than a source of effortless strength: obtaining a technique and learning to use it are separate problems, and the ring can leave him drained.
The combination of unfamiliar surroundings and familiar martial-arts ideas gives the story much of its humor. Ye Wen must judge which techniques suit his circumstances, develop his own abilities, and pass useful knowledge to his disciples. A manual is valuable only when it helps someone meet the next challenge.
This sect rebuilding cultivation novel expands with the institution Ye Wen creates. Early contests, travel, recruitment, and local disputes give way to broader cultivation conflicts across three volumes. The Shu Mountain Sect becomes more than a shelter for two survivors; its students and relationships carry the story into larger worlds. The tone mixes action, comedy, and the work of turning an unlikely beginning into a lasting school.
