Refund and Returns Policy

This Digital Download Refund & Withdrawal Policy explains when WholeSaga will replace or refund a Chinese web novel purchased in TXT or EPUB format. It also explains change-of-mind requests and statutory digital content withdrawal rights. Contact: amaozhao@gmail.com.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to paid digital novels purchased directly from WholeSaga. Free sample chapters do not require a refund. Your purchase is also subject to the Terms of Sale.

2. When a replacement or refund may be available

Please contact WholeSaga if:

  • the download link is missing or remains inaccessible after reasonable troubleshooting;
  • the purchased ebook file is corrupted, unreadable or technically unusable;
  • you received the wrong novel or a format different from the one shown in your order;
  • the digital content is materially different from the product description;
  • you were charged more than once for the same order; or
  • applicable law gives you another remedy for faulty, non-conforming or incorrectly supplied digital content.

A difference in font, page flow, spacing or navigation caused solely by a particular reading app may be a compatibility issue rather than a defective file. WholeSaga will still help identify a suitable available format where possible.

3. Replacement before refund

For a missing, corrupted, incorrect or unreadable file, WholeSaga will normally first provide a fresh download link, a corrected copy or another purchased format when that resolves the problem without cost or unreasonable delay. If the verified problem cannot be corrected within a reasonable time, an appropriate refund will be offered.

This replacement-first process does not reduce any mandatory right to a refund, price reduction, contract termination or other remedy that applies in your jurisdiction.

4. Change-of-mind refund requests

Digital files can be copied and retained immediately after access. Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, change-of-mind refunds are generally unavailable after a download link has been accessed or a file has been downloaded.

If you contact WholeSaga before accessing the download, the request will be reviewed fairly. The five-chapter free sample and format information are provided so you can evaluate the story and compatibility before buying.

5. EU, EEA, UK and other statutory withdrawal rights

Consumers in some jurisdictions have a cooling-off or withdrawal period for online purchases. In the European Union and similar regimes, a consumer generally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately, that right may end when performance begins only if the consumer has expressly requested or consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the resulting loss of the withdrawal right.

If the legally required consent, acknowledgement or confirmation has not been provided, any applicable statutory withdrawal right remains available. Nothing in this policy replaces or restricts mandatory consumer protection in the country where you live.

6. How to request download help or a refund

Email amaozhao@gmail.com and include:

  • your order number;
  • the email address used for the purchase;
  • the affected novel and file format;
  • a clear description of the problem;
  • your device and reading app, when the issue concerns compatibility or opening a file; and
  • a screenshot or exact error message when useful.

Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unrelated personal documents.

7. Review and response time

WholeSaga is independently operated. Requests are normally acknowledged within three business days. Additional time may be needed to verify an order, reproduce a technical problem or obtain information from a payment provider. You will be told if more information is required.

8. Approved refunds

Approved refunds are normally processed through Dodo Payments to the original payment method unless applicable law requires or you expressly agree to another method. WholeSaga does not charge a refund fee. The time for funds to appear depends on Dodo Payments, the payment method and your bank.

After a full refund, your licence to use the refunded digital novel ends. You should delete retained copies and must not redistribute or continue using the refunded file, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

9. Duplicate and unauthorised charges

Verified duplicate charges for the same order will be refunded. If you believe a purchase was unauthorised, contact WholeSaga promptly with the order number and purchase email, and also contact your payment provider when necessary. Never send full card details by email.

10. Fraudulent or abusive requests

WholeSaga may refuse requests involving false information, repeated abuse, unauthorised redistribution or attempts to retain and commercially exploit refunded files. This section does not limit legitimate claims or mandatory legal rights.

11. Your mandatory consumer rights

Digital content may carry statutory guarantees that it is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, as described and supplied by a person entitled to provide it. Depending on applicable law, remedies may include correction, replacement, price reduction, termination or refund. These rights apply regardless of any shorter voluntary policy stated here.
